What are Robert's thoughts about these re: armoured combat safety? I would be madly pleased to retire my plastic/leather demi gauntlet and start working with a cross-hilted sword.
Hi Larmer: they're from Armstreet. US addresses and USD, but armour is made in E. Europe.
Cheesy fantasy clothes, but AFAICT good armour. Good reviews around here, from happy customers.

Excellent service so far: ordered 7 March, arrived 3 weeks later. Damn near unheard of turnaround!
Armillary: haven't tested them yet. They're for C&T for me, not armoured combat.
There is very good movement in the thumb, and good wraparound coverage of my thumb, over the thumb end.
The leather gloves stitched inside (already done! I don't have to do any leather stitching? how many times have you heard, 'I have gauntlets I just have to finish them so I can wear them'... not a problem!) are firmly in place.
If you read the blurb it includes comments about 'improved model'.
