finished knitted garters

Very glad I'm finished with these! I'm a bit tired of garter stitch now.
This is the pre-blocked photo - all about 18-20" long. 
The third set, below the ruler, are tapered in the middle, trying to reproduce the look of the example at MoL.

four sets of garters Black silk/angora, and red/brown wool. All sets are straight, except set directly below ruler, which are tapered in middle.

They look great! My first garter is now a whopping 10" long (but a lot more even than my first try).

Rings would be lovely, if you're finding the knitting slow. :-)

I've just now blocked these (*lots* of black dye came out of the alpaca/silk!) and hung them w/ weights to stretch them as they dry.
