Yep, designed on the assumption that everyone is moving to tablets and desktops/laptops are a dying idea.
Which is why I bought a computer a while back (9mo? a year?) ... I was pretty sure that Win 7 was the last Windows operating system I'd ever be willing to use, and wanted to push off my agonizing about where to go next with my computer usage. Linux, unfortunately, simply does not have the applications I want, and Macs are kinda overpriced; there doesn't seem to be a *good* solution anymore.
