Today I'm thankful for snow. The southeast of England is in a cold snap, and is squirming under the novelty of actual snow, that stays on the ground.
I'm glad I grew up somewhere that experienced the full range of seasons, rather than the gray and mild to grey and miserable range you typically get in London.
And on the days it snows in London, I like tramping about in 'suitable' boots and clothes so I can enjoy the weather.
My coworkers still moan (they moan no matter what) but in their defense, most have very little experience driving in snow, and usually noone bothers with snow tires or winter oil/fluids for the <3 days they might need them per winter. So they really are likely to get stuck in a drift, especially off the main roads.
